Residential Construction

SouthStar Construction specializes in residential construction including new construction, additions and renovations. Through its land contacts and brokerage relations, SouthStar finds home sites and land that meet the required soils and zoning requirements and are attractive home sites. SouthStar Construction works to maintain a variety of building home sites and speculative homes.

Vision

Once a home site is selected, SouthStar Construction works with local architects to design homes and additions that meet the client’s vision and that match the desired home site.

Design Experience

One of SouthStar Construction’s principals, Suzy Watkins, makes interior finish and fixture selections for each home. Suzy is a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) which is a significant benefit to our company and clients. Suzy works with each home buyer as she brings a comprehensive knowledge of interior design and the decorative arts with 30 years experience. Her interiors share a sense of timeless quality with just the right amount of flair, while emphasizing the personality and style of our clients. She brings experience and expertise to each job.

Commercial Work

SouthStar also provides renovation and commercial construction services to select projects. Previous projects include tenant layout up fitting, renovations of buildings located in historic districts and more.
